Key Research and Expertise:
My main research interests include the social and political influence of Christianity in Indonesia, the adoption of universal religions by indigenous peoples and the social impact of globalisation.
Future Research:
I am currently working on a book with the provisional title 'Varieties of Indonesian Christian experience: An anthropological study of a minority religion in a Muslim nation' and co-editing a collection on indigenous expressions of world religions. In future I hope to initiate a project that investigates the usefulness of anthropology training in the modern corporate environment.
