Welcome to Anthropology and Sociology

The Discipline Group of Anthropology and Sociology is in the School of Social and Cultural Studies, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia.

The group has a strong undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program, and is actively involved in research.

Our three main areas of teaching and research interest are:

• Australian society
• Indigenous Australia
• The Asia-Pacific region

• Berndt Museum of Anthropology
